Laurel Fire Company hosts Easter breakfast April 5
The Laurel Fire Company is sponsoring a breakfast buffet with the Easter bunny April 5, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
A meal donation will cover a patron's fill of pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage and coffee, hot chocolate, milk or orange juice.
Bring the kids to this great event. They will be able to get their pictures taken with the Easter bunny.
Peter Cottontail will hop down the bunny trail to the fire hall to entertain the crowd during breakfast. Call 610-262-2077 for information on the donation cost.

Also in April, the fire company will be holding an annual Easter ham raffle.
Mark your calendars now for April 6, 2-6 p.m. The fire company will be raffling off 20 hams at the event. In addition to the hams, other raffles will be held throughout the day.
Included with the purchase of your ticket are refreshments and one meal per ticket.

Mark your calendars: the Egypt Memorial Park Festival Third Annual Curt Simmons Day will be held May 31.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with a parade down Main Street in Egypt, then three bands will perform live music until 10 p.m. at the park.
Great food will be provided again by Geakers Tacos, including funnel cake, fries, roasted corn on the cob, pierogies and burgers.

The Egypt Memorial Park pavilion is available for rent this spring, summer and fall, as well as new winter rentals starting this year.
The indoor pavilion can hold 150 people and the outside pavilion up to 200. Rent both together for large events to host weddings, showers, graduations, reunions and picnics.

The Cement Belt Fair committee has begun making arrangements for bookings and shows.
