Assumption BVM breakfast Sunday
Assumption BVM Church, East 22nd Street and Washington Avenue, will host a breakfast this Sunday, 8:30 a.m.-noon, in the social hall.
The menu includes french toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs or omelet; ham, sausage or bacon; hash browns; toast; juice, coffee or tea.
There is a cost. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Holy Trinity Slovak Lutheran Church, 14th Street and Washington Avenue, will be selling Country Cottage nut rolls for the Easter season. Orders must be placed before March 21 by calling 610-837-0953.
Pick-up is April 12 between 10 a.m. and noon.
A portion of the profits benefits local charities.

Pennsylvania One Book, Every Young Child 2014 is a collaborative project emphasizing the importance of early literacy development in preschoolers. To participate in this effort, the Northampton Area Public Library, 1615 Laubach Ave., is sponsoring a family story and craft time featuring "Stripes of all Types" by Susan Stockdale.
There are two time slots: Tuesday, April 8, 10 a.m. or 6 p.m., or Wednesday, April 9, 10 a.m.
Registration for the program will begin on Monday, March 10 at 9 a.m. The programs are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. A current library card is needed to register the family.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library will hold a Vera Bradley Bingo Sunday, April 6.
Doors open 11 a.m., and the games begin 1 p.m.
In addition to bingo, there will also be approximately 20 Chinese auction items, a bake sale, door prizes, consolation prizes and 50/50 drawing.
