A reminder, Salam UCC will hold a Mardi Gras event 1 p.m. this Saturday at the church, 615 Third St.

There will be a flea market, basket raffle, games and food.

The kitchen will be open 11:30 a.m. for sit-in or take out.

Catasauqua High School Class of 1950-51 will hold a lunch 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, at the Old Country Buffet at the Whitehall Mall.

All classmates are invited; no reservations are required.

The Catasauqua Public Library, Third and Bridge streets, will hold a St. Patrick's Day story, craft and snacks event for 4- to 6-year olds 6:15 p.m. Thursday, March 13.

This is a free activity. Preregister by March 12 either at the library or by calling 610-264-4151.
