The following local students were named to the dean's list for the fall 2013 semester at Alvernia University, Reading.

Allentown: Jennifer Atlas, freshman occupational therapy major and graduate of Parkland High School;

Kempton: Lauren Behney, junior behavioral health major and graduate of Kutztown Area High School.

Kutztown: Taylor Faust, ifreshman occupational therapy major and graduate of Kutztown Area High School.

To be eligible for the dean's list, students must carry a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 credits.
