January 29
· Stations 36, 37 and 38 responded to a general alarm at Ross Dress for Less, 2180 MacArthur Road (found to be on test), 10:22 a.m.
· An odor of plastic burning at 86 Madison Lane on the second floor (after an exhaustive search found to be caused by the circulator motor), brought out Stations 36 and 37, 10:38 p.m.
January 30
· An odor investigation for a smell of natural gas at 3776 Dogwood Drive (no gas found), brought out Stations 36, 37 and 38, 3:04 a.m.
· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a fire alarm at 1139 Sumner Ave. at Light Manufacturing Company (set off accidentally by employees), 5:01 a.m.
· A fire alarm at 1111 11th St. (found to be water coming through a smoke detector because the heat went off (unknown reason and was a vacant house), brought out Stations 36 and 37, 8:24 a.m.
· The fire chief responded to 18 requests and made 10 recalls.
February 1
· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at 2019 Columbia Ave. (caused by a faulty carbon monoxide alarm), 6:29 a.m.
· A pole and wires down at the church, 1419 Overlook Road torn down by a tractor trailer in the parking lot, brought out Stations 36 and 37, 6:52 p.m.
February 2
· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at 1887 Van Buren Drive (found to be high carbon monoxide readings with readings of 200 ppm) caused by a charcoal grill, 12:40 a.m.
· A water problem at the former Lehigh Valley Dairy building, 1002 MacArthur Road, brought out Station 36, 4:34 p.m.
· Stations 36 and 37 responded to a water problem with water going into an electrical outlet and causing smoke, 9:23 p.m.
February 3
· Station 35 fire police assisted police with traffic control at the Race Street bridge to close the bridge, 10:16 a.m.
· Stations 35 and 36 assisted police with injuries and a car into the ditch between Route 22 and MacArthur Road northbound to go westbound, 10:37 a.m.
· A motor vehicle accident with a spill of anti-freeze at Fourth and Main streets, brought out Station 40, 12:26 p.m.
· A fire alarm at Buca Di Beppo, 714 Grape St. (caused by a power failure), brought out Station 36 and 37, 1:14 p.m.
· A motor vehicle accident with traffic control on Mickley Road in front of Hackman's, brought out Station 35 fire police, 6:24 p.m.
February 5
· A report of a carbon monoxide alarm activated at 87 Maple Leaf Lane brought out Stations 36, 37, 3503-3501, 10:20 p.m.
February 6
· A motor vehicle accident with a spill involving four cars at Presidential and Sunset Drive, brought out Stations 35 and 36, 10:06 a.m.
· Stations 35 and 36 responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries and spill on MacArthur Road northbound just north of American Street, 12:31 p.m.
· Station 36 assisted a citizen to help the person through the snow in order to get to the hospital, 1:30 p.m.
