                Vincent J. Rivetti, 85 of Northampton, died Feb. 9, 2014, at his home. He was the husband of the late Mildred (Smith) Rivetti.
                Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Piscitelli) Rivetti.
                He was a Coplay High School graduate.
                He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Lafayette College in 1961.
                He served his country as a Lance Cpl. in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
                He worked at Bridesburg Foundry, Whitehall, and became the owner/ operator of the foundry, known by the workers as Uncle Vinney. He worked every day for 60 years.
                He was a member of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church.
                He was a member of the Holy Name Society, Catasauqua; the American Foundry Society; the Lehigh Valley Foundry Society; Non-Ferrous Foundry Society; and of the Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association and a Life Member of Northampton Fire Co. No. 1, both of Northampton.
                He is survived by a sister, Marie V. Jacoby of Northampton; three nephews, John and Thomas Druckenmiller and John Rivetti; three nieces, Jane Deutsch, Cynthia Rivetti and Rosie Peters; great–nieces; and great–nephews.
                He was predeceased by a brother, Pasquale.
