The Whitehall Township Board of Commissioners will be selecting an appointee to the seven-member Coplay Whitehall Sewer Authority (CWSA) next month.
Four members serve from Whitehall and three from Coplay.
James Roth, whose present term expires at the end of the month, is seeking reappointment for a five-year term.
Township Commissioner Paul Geissinger, whose terms expires Dec. 31, is a potential appointee to the CWSA.
Two other township residents have also applied for the CWSA seat. They are Jason Szewczak and Donald Melochick.
Board President Linda Snyder said the appointment won't occur until the meeting Jan. 13. The meeting set for Jan. 6 is the annual reorganization meeting at which no other business is conducted, Snyder said.
Earlier this month, Coplay Borough Council voted unanimously to reappiont chairman John Schreiner.
