Lauren Strella was one of 14 students recently inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the economics honor society, at Susquehanna University.

The philosophy of Omicron Delta Epsilon is to encourage its members to dedicate themselves to scholarly activity and the advancement of intelligent solutions to economic problems.

Membership is available to juniors and seniors in any major who have taken at least 12 semester hours in economics, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in economics, and rank in the top one-third of their classes.

Strella is a recent graduate who majored in earth and environmental science.

A 2009 graduate of Parkland High School, she is the daughter of Julie and Christopher Strella.
