Whitehall Township will usher in the holiday season 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, with its annual tree lighting ceremony.

Children from the Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy, will sing, encouraging the audience to sing along.

Santa will arrive at the municipal building on MacArthur Road aboard a fire truck. He will greet children and give out presents. Refreshments will be served following the program.

Mayor Edward D. Hozza Jr. reports holiday banners are up all across the township, as is a large lighted "Merry Christmas" banner stretching across MacArthur Road near the Lehigh Valley Mall.
