Taylor A. Wejkszner, a 2011 Parkland High School graduate, was chosen by Lehigh Valley Health Network for a research scholar program.

Thousands of applications are received each year from around the country and she was one of 37 students chosen to do summer research for the Department of Surgery Robotics/OB-GYN.

Wejkszner attends Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. and is majoring in biochemistry with a minor in Spanish.

She is the daughter of Linda and Allen Wejkszner of Slatington.
