Local residents
begin studies
Michael Chajnacki and Rachel Becker of Northampton and Baxton Kocher of Bath have begun their studies at Lebanon Valley College this fall.
Chajnacki is a freshman actuarial science major and a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School, Becker is a freshman business administration major and graduate of Northampton Area High School and Kocher is a freshman music recording technology major and graduate of Northampton Area High School.
Also beginning their studies at Lebanon Valley College are Zac Edwards and Melissa Fuhrman of Catasauqua, both graduates of Catasauqua High School.
Edwards will major in accounting and Fuhrman will major in health science.

Residents named
to dean's list
Koppany Jordan and Jacqueline O'Connell, both of Northampton, have been named to the dean's list for the spring 2013 semester at Washington College.
Jordan is political science major and religion minor and O'Connell is majoring in biology. Both students are members of the Class of 2015.
Dean's list students are recognized for their academic excellence and must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester.
