Mark your calendar for a tricky tray event at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1900 E. Pennsylvania Ave., Saturday, Sept. 28. Doors open at 11 a.m. and drawings begin at 5 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door or in advance at a discount Sept. 7-20. Contact the church office at 610-865-3603 or saec@ptd.net. Leave your name and number and someone will return your call.

The public is invited to shop for the holidays or just for fun. Baked goods, food and beverages will also be for sale.

The church is located between Allentown and Bethlehem, two blocks south of Catasauqua Road. Turn from Pennsylvania Avenue onto Taft St. to enter the parking lot.

The Hanover Township Council meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m., at the township building on the corner of Grove and Airport roads. The public is always encouraged to attend these meetings. The next one is Sept. 18.

The Kiwanis Club of Allentown Northeast meets Wednesdays at noon, at the Denny's restaurant on Airport Road. Anyone interested in the activities of this civic organization is welcome to attend a luncheon meeting. Call Fred at 610-868-1357 for information.

The Pennsylvania Avenue Interfaith Food Pantry, located at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, is open on the first and third Wednesdays of each month, 6-8 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome. The food bank is open to anyone needing assistance with feeding a family. The next distribution day is Sept. 18.
