The North Catasauqua Betterment Committee is hosting a free Summer Car Cruise Monday, Sept. 2.

Music, food, door prizes and a 50/50 drawing will be featured, along with a display of classic and antique cars. The event will take place at the North Catasauqua Park from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

St. Andrews Young at Heart, Third and Eugene streets, will meet Aug. 28 in the church social hall. The entrance is off the parking lot at the rear of the building. After the business meeting, bingo and refreshments are planned.

A casino bus trip to the Mohegan Sun is planned for Friday, Aug. 30. Call Bill Molchany Sr. at 610-264-6920 to reserve a seat.

Reservations are also being taken for dinner shows Oct. 9 at Ace in the Hole in New Jersey and Dec. 11 at Sight and Sound at Hershey Farms.
