Come join Cub Scout Pack 94 for a short informational meeting given by pack leaders.
The meeting will take place on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. in the small pavilion at the Catasauqua Park, 501 American St.
If your son is attending first through fifth grade and would like to join the Scouts, try to attend this short meeting. It will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
The rest of the afternoon will be spent at the Catasauqua Pool, so bring your lawn chairs, swim suits and towels.

The third annual Sage Stauffer Memorial Soccer tournament will take place Aug. 24 at Catasauqua High School. The event begins at 9 a.m. and will be an all-day affair.
The goal is to encourage children to play soccer, stay active, build friendships, bolster character and keep Sage's memory alive for another year.

The Catty Cosmos, a traveling girls' U-10 soccer team, will be sponsoring a car wash fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 10, at the fire training grounds on Race Street.
Look for the girls and their parents, sponges in hand, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Cosmos team is affiliated with the Catasauqua Youth Soccer Association.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Fourth and Pine streets, will be holding a mystery dinner theater Saturday, Sept. 7, at 5:30 p.m.
"Dead Men Don't Speakeasy" is set in the roaring twenties at the hottest spot in town. It will be presented by the Without a Clue production company based in Philadelphia.
Enjoy a fully interactive evening and meet Mr. Big, Early Demise and Hans Zoff.

The proceeds will benefit Trinity's sidewalk fund and the Catasauqua Food Bank.
