Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1235 Main St., will hold a flea market and bake sale Saturday, Aug. 10, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Food will be available for purchase.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the church building fund.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library will be sponsoring a chartered bus trip to the Civil War Museum, Harrisburg, and the 13th Annual Civil War Reenactment Train Ride, Middletown, on Saturday, Sept. 21. The bus will depart promptly at 8 a.m. from the Northampton Recreation Center, 1 Lerchenmiller Drive, and will arrive back at approximately 7 p.m.

This trip is open to everyone who would like to come, not just library patrons. Deadline to purchase tickets is Thursday, Aug. 29. For cost and to sign up for the trip, visit the library, 1615 Laubach Ave., or call 610-262-7537. Hurry, tickets are expected to sell out quickly!

The Northampton Borough Municipal Pool is open noon to 7 p.m., weather permitting, through Aug. 16.

Holy Trinity Nursery School 1235 Main St., has a limited number of spaces available for the 2013-14 school year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class meets Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30-11 a.m. Class size is limited to 12 children. They do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-11:30 a.m. Class size is limited to 16 children. They need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class, which meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 12:15-2:45 p.m., is currently filled. A waiting list has been started for this class.

An open house has been scheduled for Monday, Aug. 26 for those students currently registered for these classes.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

The Northampton Memorial Community Center, 16th Street and Laubach Avenue, hosts bingo every Monday night. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and the games begin at 7 p.m.

The kitchen is open.

Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
