The Northampton Area Food Bank asks for your support during its annual Christmas in July food/fundraiser.

Food bank volunteers will b e at Dollar General 9 a.m.-3 p.m. July 20-21.

During the summer months, donations decrease. However, clients continue to need assistance. Volunteers will provide a list of items needed.

The food bank is open every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

The Friends of the Northampton Area Public Library is having a yard sale 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the library on Laubach Avenue.

Set up will begin at 7 a.m. and vendors are needed. Donations of items for the Friends group to sell are also sought as are volunteers.

The Siegfried Railroad Station, home of the Northampton Area Historical Society, will be open to visitors 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 21. The station is located on West 21st Street (Route 329).

New exhibits this year are the R.A. Smith Milling Company, the Northampton centennial and miscellaneous Northampton memorabilia.

Admission is free but donations for the ongoing station restoration are always accepted. New members area also welcome.

A Dip-N-Dance will take place 1-3 p.m. Monday, July 22, at the borough swimming pool on Laubach Avenue.

The pool is open noon-7 p.m., weather permitting, through Aug. 16.

The Northampton Liederkranz is looking for bowlers to form leagues and play at the club, located at 402 E. Ninth St.
