The Northampton track and field team took part in day one of the LVC meet at Whitehall on Tuesday, May 7. Day two was scheduled to take place Wednesday, May 8, after Press deadlines and weather permitting.

Serveral Kids stood out on day one, though. Kory DeCesaris was first in the shot put with a throw of 55-8. DeCesaris took third in the javelin (159-0) and teammate Brad Klucsarits was second (159-7).

Jarrett Fenon was third in the shot put with a 45-9.25 while Klucsarits was sixth with a 43-6.

Noah Rindock was sixth for the Kids in the triple jump with a 40-9.

For the girls, Hannah Marth won gold the javelin with a throw of 118-2.

Jennifer Perry was fifth in the 3,200 event with a time of 11:45.10.
