Cetronia and Woodlawn volunteer firefighters spent two hours Jan. 16 cleaning up a spill on Dorney Park Road, South Whitehall.

An unknown fluid was causing slippery conditions on the road starting at the intersection of Cedarbrook and Dorney Park roads, east on Dorney Park to Lincoln Avenue and south on Lincoln.

Firefighters used oil absorbent material to control the fluid and to serve as an antiskid material.

Woodlawn dispatched Unit 3293, the fire company's new off-road vehicle to help spread the oil absorbent.
