Calling all women! On Jan. 28, Heidelberg Church's Women of Faith group will meet 7 p.m.

Women of all ages are invited to come on out and enjoy an entertaining night of good, clean Christian comedy.

Spread the word! An open house for the new Heidelberg Union Church Preschool is planned for Jan. 30. Snow date is Jan. 31.

Parents will have the opportunity to view the facilities from 6:30-8 p.m. in addition to meeting Preschool Director Ann Flower of New Tripoli.

The preschool will provide an age-based education for 3- to 5-year-old children in a Christian setting. Sessions begin in September.

Have you heard? The Germansville Fire Company is having a membership drive.

As with your dues, donations toward the truck fund or to the fire company may be sent to Goodwill Fire Company, P.O. Box 69, Germansville, PA 18053.

With the fire company in mind, have you purchased your reflective house numbers yet? When emergency crews need to find your home, will they be able to find it quickly?

Make sure your address numbers are visible and readable from the street.

Residents may purchase reflective house numbers from the fire company.

The numbers are big, bright and easy to read.

To order yours, call the fire company at 610-767-7757 and leave your name, address and phone number and someone will get back to you.

And don't forget, the fire company's facilities are also available to rent and may be reserved by contacting Doris Koenig at 610-767-3778.
