Heidelberg supervisors met Dec. 27, 2012, to adopt the township's 2013 budget, with minor changes approved at the board's Nov. 23, 2012 meeting.

With no members of the public present, the meeting took only 5 minutes.

Budget amounts for 2013 are: General Fund, $1,018,436; State Liquid Fuels Fund, $146,442; Special Revenue Fund, $35,507; Recreation Fund, $5,284; and Werleys Corner Road Turnback Fund, $174,106; for a total of $1,379,775.

The tax rates for 2013 were also adopted. None of these were changed from 2012, with the exception of the property tax, which had to be adjusted due to the reassessment.

To arrive at roughly the same tax revenue, this rate was adjusted to 0.675 mills.

Supervisors were scheduled to meet Jan. 7 for the annual election of officers and other reorganization business.
