Consignment shop provides clothes, more

One Lehigh Valley resident has found a unique way to bring the largest consignment of children's clothes to area parents and grandparents.

Amanda D'Ambrosio, of Coopersburg, started Kids Clothesline Consignment out of her home eight years ago.

The event grew to a little church.

Today, D'Ambrosio holds consignment events twice a year, in the fall and spring at the Agri-Plex at the Allentown Fairgrounds selling children's clothes, shoes, toys and furniture.

"This is big in the South," D'Ambrosio said. "I had met somebody from the South who does this and I felt it was a good idea, something we needed here in the Valley."

She said whatever does not sell, the consignee can either pick up or donate to a charity at the end of the event.
