Nestlé Waters North America joined with the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley Sept. 18 for an Employee Volunteer Day.
More than 50 Nestlé Waters employees from the Pure Life and Deer Park plants in Breinigsville participated in the event.
"We strive to give back to the local community whenever we can," Peter Rittenhouse, Pennsylvania supply chain director for Nestlé Waters North America, said. "So, it's great to see close to 60 Nestlé Waters employees at both of our bottling facilities here in Breinigsville participate in Employee Volunteer Day today.
"Sixty recycling bins and 50 gardening kits were assembled and they will now be enjoyed by seven different schools, churches and nonprofits in the Lehigh Valley."
Enterprise Holdings donated its time and trucks to deliver the recycling bins and gardening kits.
