Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville, will have a blessing of backpacks at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. services Aug. 26.

Anyone involved with education is invited to come with backpacks, briefcases or laptop bags to receive both a blessing and a small gift.

They will also be dedicating an offering of pencils, crayons, paper and backpacks for the Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry. There will be a box in the fellowship room for donated items.
