South Whitehall Township Police along with Freemansburg, Whitehall, Allentown City, and Pennsylvania State Police converged on a house at 4228 Briarcliff Road, South Whitehall, at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 8 following a car chase.

Todd D. Schaedel, who was wanted for allegedly fleeing Freemansburg police, was arrested at the house.

According to Lehigh County assessment records, the house is owned by Todd D. and Diane M. Schaedel.

South Whitehall Township Police Lt. John Christman spoke with The Press.

"Our officers were dispatched to Briarcliff Road to assist state police and Freemansburg police but when they arrived the actor was already in custody," Christman said. "We had no involvement."
