The Emmaus Historical Society will present a program 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fifth and Main streets, Emmaus. Note this program is on a Thursday due to Lent and the facility availability. The program titled, “The Circus is Coming to the Valley,” will be presented by Bob Good who is a collector of circus memorabilia and a circus historian. He will share items from his own collection as well as some history and stories of circuses, some of which came to the Lehigh Valley. All are welcome to attend this free event. Refreshments will be served immediately following the program.

Recycling and cleanup efforts begin 9 a.m. Document shredding and electronics recycling will be offered for township and borough residents. Light bulbs and household batteries also will be collected.
