Joy E. (Poulette) Grassi, 85, of Manheim, died Oct. 13, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Ralph Grassi, who preceded her in death in 2023.

Born in Trenton, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John and Claire (Ruth) Poulette.

She was a founding member of Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church in New Tripoli, now known as Grace Community Church.

She devoted herself to her family as a homemaker and found great joy in raising her children.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth J. (Arthur) Woods, with whom she most recently resided; three sons, Jonathan D. (Claudette) Grassi of Lancaster, Ralph Timothy (Cathy) Grassi of Branson, Mo., and Andrew T. (Janel) Grassi of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother, Rev. John (Judy) Poulette of Berea, Ky.; and her sister, Faith Woelkers of Bristol, Va.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol, and her brother-in-law, Richard Woelkers.

Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 22, at Grace Community Church, 7343 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until the time of the service.

Private interment will take place at New Bethel Cemetery in Kempton.

Arthur C. Woods, II, will officiate.
