Volunteers Nicki Windermere and Abby Hoosier help make the Color Run a success Oct. 3 at Willow Lane Elementary School. The annual fundraiser supports field trips, PTO-sponsored Popsicles and pizza, teacher activities and teacher appreciation events. More than 300 students, representing over half the school’s enrollment, registered for the event, which had raised more than $38,000 by race time.
