James Ray Silvius, 60, of Coopersburg, died Oct. 9, 2026, in Lehigh Valley Hospital — Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Ann E. (Baran) Silvius, with whom he shared 25 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late LeRoy J. Silvius and Jean (Gross) Brendlinger.

He worked for Scott Chevrolet, Precast in Telford and for more than 30 years as a truck driver for MESCO Systems and Lazer Spot.

He was a member of the Mercantile Club of Emmaus and Colebrookdale Railroad.

He is survived by his wife, Ann; son, Jeremy and his wife, Rachel; stepdaughter, Stephanie, wife of Will Reed; stepgrandchildren, Korall, Nijall and Gabriall; stepgreat-granddaughter, Nailea.

A celebration of his life will be held 2 p.m. Oct. 24 in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. in the funeral home.
