LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Out for a fright!

PRESS PHOTOS BY DONNA GEWERTZA wagon full of friends eagerly await their turn at Whitehall Township Fire Department’s annual Haunted Hayrides in the Parkway, which runs 7-11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in October at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St.
Don Jacoby, of Nazareth, brings Haunted Hayrides in the Parkway guests Oct. 2 a spoof on face painting — face carving! The annual program runs 7-11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays throughout October at Whitehall Parkway, 4689 S. Church St., and is a fundraiser for Whitehall Township Fire Department.
Passengers on the hayride are all smiles by the antics of Tim Vilbas, who hopped aboard their wagon.
When darkness falls upon the parkway, these creepy butchers, played by Emily Wilson (left) and Natasha Ziegler, appear. Both are from Whitehall.
Eager visitors line up for a successful grand opening of the Halloween-themed destination.
Megan Johnson and Bret Monahan sell commemorative shirts and blankets as an added fundraiser in support of the fire department.
Above: The Smurda family, of Orefield, show their tickets as they have the honor of being first in line for the event.
Helping to satisfy your hunger for popcorn are Addison (left) and Lexi Seiple, both of Lehighton.
