Ardith A. (Lengel) Huesz, 69, of Allentown, died Sept. 18, 2026, at her residence.

She was the loving wife of Mark T. Baechle, and adored aunt, sister, and friend of many others.

Born in Allentown, Feb. 7, 1957, she was the daughter of the late I. Thomas and Ann L. (Kressly) Lengel.

She graduated from Slatington High School and Bennett College.

She was one of the top interior designers at Ethan Allen in Wescosville for over 40 years before retiring.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

She was a volunteer for the Lehigh County Meals on Wheels and Itty-Bitty Kitty.

She was a member of Steel Fitness Gym where she participated in aqua aerobics and yoga, and was active in the Ptarmigan Ski Club and the Parkland Garden Club.

In addition to her husband, Mark, she is survived by brother, Timothy T. Lengel (Diane) of Slatington; nieces, Shannon M. Cook (Stephen) of Oxford, Sarah D. Vlossak of Palmerton; nephew, Adam T. Lengel (Bethany) of Palmerton; and several beloved great nieces and great nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held 10 a.m. Nov. 4, at The First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 West Tilghman St., Allentown.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 9 to 10 a.m. before the service in the church.

Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.

There will be a further celebration including food and drinks held in the Fellowship Hall of The First Presbyterian Church following the interment.
