The Northwestern cross country team took part in a Colonial League multi-team meet The Tigers’ Brandon Richards took second place overall in the boys race behind Southern Lehigh’s Miles Etters at the meet. The Tigers’ Noah Griffith (8th), Michael Richards (13th), Isaac Grubb (15th) and Adin Breidinger (16th) made up the rest of the Tigers’ team score.
In the girls race, the Tigers’ Rosalia Nestor led her team with a third-place finish. Wilson’s Juliana Bonham won the girls race. The rest of Northwestern’s top five included Emily Kistler (15th), Katie Furman (18th), Charlotte David (23rd) and Lillian Scanlon (24th).
Northwestern’s boys team improved to 8-2 at the meet and is in third place in the Colonial League behind Southern Lehigh (10-0) and Notre Dame of Green Pond (13-1).
The Tiger girls team heads into this week’s meets also at 8-2 and in fourth place in the league standings behind Southern Lehigh (10-0), Wilson (12-2) and Pen Argyl (12-2).
