LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Support GTH at paranormal investigation screening Oct. 9

This October, “Ghost Encounters” is taking audiences inside one of the Lehigh Valley’s most historic and reportedly haunted locations for an investigation that captured some of the most compelling audio and visual evidence the team has encountered. In the newest episode of “Ghost Encounters,” the team of Justin Torok, Jordan Baltzersen and Hannah Wallner investigate the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets, Catasauqua.

This historic home was once owned by George Taylor, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. With America celebrating its 250th anniversary this year, the timing couldn’t be more fitting.

But while the house may be steeped in American history, it’s the stories of what may still be inside that brought “Ghost Encounters” through its doors.

During their investigation, the team experienced and captured compelling EVPs, electronic voice phenomenon, as well as eerie visual evidence and direct spirit activity throughout the historic property.

Now, viewers will finally get to see what “Ghost Encounters” captured for themselves.

The George Taylor House episode premiere will take place Oct. 9 at Sleepy Cat Urban Winery, 1840 W. Allen St., Allentown. Doors open 7 p.m., with the episode beginning approximately 7:45 p.m.

Tickets for the event include reserved seating for the viewing and a glass of wine, making it the perfect night to sit back, enjoy a drink and experience the investigation with fellow fans of the paranormal.

Even better, $5 from every ticket will be donated to the George Taylor House Association to help support the preservation of the historic landmark.

Come raise a glass, turn down the lights and see what “Ghost Encounters” found inside a house that has stood for nearly 250 years.

The history is real. The stories are real. What happened inside the house, you’ll have to see for yourself.
