There’s a new eatery open on Bethlehem’s Southside as the Aug. 25 grand opening of Gully Kitchen offers “Indian street food” seven days a week according to co-owner Tushar Paul, who saw the opportunity to offer quick services much like other local ethnic food establishments in the Bethlehem area.
Over 150 eager eaters lined up at the newly renovated property, which is located at 203 East 3rd Street. to receive a free bowl on opening night. Gully Kitchen will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. most of the week and late-night 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, says Paul.
Bowls, sandwiches and rolls are offered on the menu. and Paul feels the bowls will be a very popular menu item. Customers can build their bowls with a base (Gully rice or salad) and then add protein, a spread, toppings and sauce.
Paul and co-owner Hiren Patel bring their concept of Indian street food offering “bold flavors, great quality and unforgettable food experiences” according to a press release.
The grand opening was coordinated by Gina Martens, senior vice president of member relations at the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
