The Whitehall field hockey team fell to Pen Argyl in an away game from Monday, 3-1.

Pen Argyl got on the board first with a Sydney Soos goal, but Kerigan Dreisbach continued to find the back of the net, and tied the game at 1-1.

From there, the Knights were able to pull away with goals from Gianna Martini and Sadie Davis.

The Zephs were able to down Palmerton 6-1 behind a Dreisbach hat trick.

The girls scored the first six goals of the game with Dreisbach getting three of the first four to help put things away.

Evelyn Hudak scored the team’s second goal.

Rylan Young made it 5-0 and Khloe Vixamar made it 6-0 on an assist from Dreisbach. Ella Grohtolsky assisted on Dreisbach’s third goal.

Stroudsburg scored the game’s first seven goals to beat Whitehall 8-2.

Gracelyn Barzev would score the first two and then completed her hat trick with the fifth goal of the game.

Whitehall cut the lead to 7-2 with goals from Hudak, assisted by Kendal Fedorak, and Dreisbach, assisted by Hudak.

The Whitehall girls soccer team pulled away with a big second half to beat Palmerton 4-1.

The score was tied 0-0 at halftime.

Collene Sommers, Olivia Tabarani, Claire Schrampf and Paula Londono each scored for the Zephs. The girls dominated the game with 23 shots and six corners.

Haley Ott made 14 saves in the win.

Sommers continues to lead the team in goals this season with 15, adding three assists for 33 points. Schrampf is second in points with six goals and three assists for 15 points.

Jade Snyder leads the team in assists with 8 and has two goals for 12 points. Londono has five goals and three assists for 13 points.

In cross country action, Whitehall’s Al Marakovits took 35th to lead the boys at a recent meet at Bicentennial Park in East Allen Township. His time was 19:06. Emmaus’ David Hearn was first overall with a time of 15:55.

The Whitehall girls were led Marli Jacobus who had a top-20 finish. Jacobus took 18th with a time of 22:34. The race was won by Grace Nozal of Emmaus with a time of 19:19.
