In tennis action the Kids picked up wins over East Stroudsburg North and Pleasant Valley, recently.

The girls beat Eastburg North 5-0.

In singles Lea Fornarotoo defeated Kayline Acheampong 6-1, 6-4 with Addison Slivka winning over Madison Quarterman 6-0, 6-1. Evelyn Ziegler knocked off Akeira Rivera 6-2, 6-4.

In doubles, Dahlia Janis and Kelly Holland won over Ewelina Pelekhach and Madison Dixon 6-1, 6-0 while Olivia Warren and Evelyn Lack topped Kora Paryzki and Clare Paryzki 6-5, 6-4.

Against the Bears, the girls were 6-1 winners.

Fornarotto and Slivka were winners again in singles. Fornarotto beat Avery Cogan 6-1, 6-2, while Slivka defeated Alayna Boland 6-2, 6-1.

Janis and Holland were 6-2, 6-3 winners and Warren and Lack won 6-2, 6-1. Abigail Wright and Jarelis Rosado-Cedeno won 6-0, 6-3.

The boys soccer team picked up three wins, knocking off Easton 5-1, Dieruff 9-0 and Bethlehem Catholic 10-0, and they continue to play well (see story at left).

The boys jumped out to a 4-0, first half lead and then made it 5-0 before Easton got on the board.

Logan Stone scored the first two goals of the game. He was assisted by JT Malseed and Jason Brabec.

Jacob Fallenstein scored the next three with assists from Bret Anderko, Brabec and Joseph Gonzales.

Ryan Nahf made five saves in the win.

Against the Huskies Jariel Medina had a four goals, including the first three of the game to help lead the kids. His first three goals were assisted by Jacob Fallenstein.

Medina would assist on the fourth goal scored by Joseph Gonzales.

Bret Anderko, Fallenstein, Jackson Pongracz and Owen Coughlin would also scored for the Kids with Jason Brabec, Pongracz, Blake Lavenburg, Gonzales and Jeyhis Kirk getting assists.

Ryan Nahf made two saves.

Against the Hawks Gonzalez and Fallenstein each had hat tricks to lead the way.

Medina and James Opacic each had two goals in the win.

Picking up assists were Mark Jusinski (2), Gonzales (2), Medina (2), Brabec (2), Pongracz and Coughlin.

Nahf made two saves.

In girls soccer, Emmaus was a 5-1 winner recently.

Brooke Evans, a freshman, scored the first two goals for the Hornets. Evans would score their fifth and final goal for the hat trick.

Lizzy Bender and Cecilia Albeck also scored for Emmaus. Giuliana Meyer had two assists and Bender had three assists.

Carly Pearl scored the Kids only goal.

Grace Caulwell made 8 saves in the loss.

In cross country action, Mike Snyder had a top-20 finish for the Northampton boys in a recent home meet at Bicentennial Park.

Snyder had a time of 18:06 and finished in 17th. Emmaus’ David Hearn was first overall with a time of 15:55.

The Northampton girls were led by Alex Wright who finished 47th with a time of 25:39.

The race was won by Grace Nozal of Emmaus with a time of 19:19.
