Cornelius A. “Neil” Novotny, 83, of Breinigsville, died Aug. 31, 2026.

He was the husband of the late Nancy L. (Fenstermaker) Novotny.

Born in Beaver Meadows, Carbon County, he was a son of the late Anna (Maza) and Dean Novotny.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and earned the rank of airman first class.

Before retiring, he was employed at Mack Trucks, Inc., and was a member of UAW Local No. 677.

He was an active member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Allentown, and the VFW and enjoyed horse racing.

He is survived by sister-in-law, Joann, Hazleton; nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brother, Stephen O., and sister-in-law, Dolores.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m. Sept. 26, in the church at 1046 W. Cedar St., Allentown.

Visitation begins at 9 a.m.

Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
