Cheryl E. (Pollitt) Sinclair, 78, of Neffs, died Sept. 13, 2026, in her home.

She was the beloved wife of Roger L. Sinclair, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in Fountain Hill, Aug. 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Betty (Frantz) Pollitt.

She enjoyed a long and dedicated career in the legal profession.

From 1976—1981, she worked as a legal secretary with Gardner, Gardner and Racines.

In 1981, she began working for The Honorable James Knoll Gardner with the Court of Common Pleas of Lehigh County, serving as his executive secretary for more than 20 years.

When Judge Gardner was appointed to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2002, she continued her career with the Federal Court as a civil deputy clerk, where she remained until her retirement in 2015.

An active and devoted member of Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown, she sang with the senior choir, played in the handbell choir, served as secretary for the Perpetual Memorial, and participated in the 3M Group, Red Hat Ladies and Banquet Committee.

She was also a Woobie Warrior, helping to create “Blankets of Love” for others.

In addition to her loving husband, Roger, her survivors include daughter Tara D. Antonis and her husband, Chris of Bethlehem Township; a brother, Keith Pollitt of Catasauqua; a sister, Corey Pollitt of Allentown; grandchildren Braden Antonis of Philadelphia and Madison Antonis of Bethlehem Township.

She was predeceased by her sister, Judy DallaPiazza.

A memorial service was held Sept. 18, 2026, at Jordan United Church of Christ, Allentown, with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating.

The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville, was entrusted with the arrangements.
