Glenn A. Kent, 83, of Barto, died, Sept. 14, 2026, at Lehigh Commons in Lower Macungie Township. He was the husband of the late Gretchen (Faurl) Kent. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Andrew and Betty (Long) Kent.

He was employed for almost 50 years at Mack Trucks, retiring as a foreman.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Allentown.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by daughters, Jennifer J. Mory, Shannon (Walker) Kirk and her fiancé, John Huebner; stepson, Fred Walker; brother, Carl; grandchildren, Brandon, Justin and Hannah; three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack.
