Jeffrey Dutko

of Salisbury Township

Jeffrey Robert Dutko, 61, of Salisbury Township, died Sept. 8, 2026, in his home. Born in Allentown, he was a son of Linda M. (Reist) Dutko, with whom he resided and the late Robert J. Dutko.

He was a 1983 graduate of Salisbury High School.

He worked as a truck driver and bartender for many years.

He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 110 and the Mountainville Fire Company, both in Allentown.

In his younger years, he took great pride in his physique and enjoyed staying fit through bodybuilding and he was a lightweight boxer.

He also enjoyed collecting model cars and his love of animals was displayed through his many years of volunteer work at Animals in Distress.

Above all, his family meant the most to him.

He is survived by his mother, Linda; brothers, Scott J. and his wife, Robin, of Salisbury Township, Christopher L. and his wife, Denise, of Whitehall; uncle, Daniel Reist, of Pricetown; nephews, Augustus and Leo; dear friend, Terri-Lou Meitzler; several cousins.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Sept. 19 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held 10 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Animals in Distress, P.O. Box 609, Coopersburg, 18036.
