After a year off, the Northampton Invitational was back this season and took place this past Saturday.

Overall, Gabe Simkiss of Regina Luminis Academy took first place for the boys with time of 15:43.8. Dallastown’s Ben Farbman was just behind in second in 15:46.9.

Emmaus had two runners in the top 10 with David Hearn taking fifth and Roen Woolf taking sevenths. Parkland’s Cole Orloski was eighth.

Perkiomen Valley was first overall with 77 points. Emmaus was second with 94.

For the girls, Faith Castronuovo of Upper Dublin took first overall with a time of 18:13.0.

Liz McClarin of Liberty was second with a time of 18:36.6. Dallastown was first with 57 points and Upper Dublin was second with 93.

Gabe Unangst paved the way for the Whitehall boys taking 89th with a time of 19:40.3. Isabelle Daigle had a time of 23:00.0, tops for WHS girls.

The Whitehall field hockey team dropped a 7-0 game to Easton.

Cece Greg had a big day with four goals in the win. Lexi Tice added two goals.

The Whitehall girls soccer team is hoping a big win over Dieruff can propel them the rest of the season after getting off to an 1-2 start. The girls dropped games to Palmerton and Easton.

Collene Sommers leads the team in goals with three. She also has an assist for seven points. Jade Snyder has seven points as well which is tied for the team lead. Snyder has two goals and three assists.

Paula Dondono and Clair Schrampf also have two goals.
