From 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 8, there will be a Catasauqua Area School District Board of Education meeting in the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St.

Reminder: Catasauqua High School’s picture day is scheduled for Sept. 3.

Both CASD and Lehigh Career and Technical Institute will be closed Sept. 4-7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume Sept. 8.

There will be a sophomore class ring assembly 8-8:30 a.m. Sept. 17.

CASD will have an early dismissal Sept. 23. CHS students will be dismissed 12:50 p.m.

Also on Sept. 23, CHS will hold a senior college night 6-8 p.m. in the auditorium.

CHS students are eligible for free breakfast and lunch this year. Students will pay for a la carte items only. Breakfast is served 7:20-7:49 a.m.

Lunches occur during assigned time in block 3.
