Edward A. Johnson Sr., 91, of Lower Macungie Township, died Aug. 23, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Johnson. Born in Wellsboro, he was the son of the late Austin and Marguerite (Evans) Johnson.

He graduated from East Stroudsburg State College and was a special education schoolteacher in the Lehigh Valley until his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Edward A. Jr.
