Andrew “Gabo” John Gabovitz, 47, of Northampton, died Aug. 14, 2026, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late James A. and Mary M. (Gallagher) Gabovitz.

He graduated from Northampton High School.

He worked for several years as a landscaper and groundskeeper at Moravian University.

He was a member of Alliance Fire Company, Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293 and Grouse Hall Fish and Game.

He is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Gabovitz and partner Nathan Sanno and Brooke; a brother, Joseph Gabovitz and wife Janet Tashner; a niece, Stella; a nephew, Samuel; and several cousins.

Arrangements were made by Reichel Funeral Home Inc., Northampton.
