Cider is a pit mix around 2 years old with a heart as big as his smile. When he first arrived, he was extremely underweight and his past was clearly full of trauma. Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for Cider, and he can be nervous when meeting new people. He will require multiple meets before becoming comfortable. Because of this, he is available for meets by appointment only. Cider would do best with a confident, patient adopter who can help him continue building trust. Once he’s out of the shelter environment, though, his true personality shines. Cider is goofy, playful, and full of charm. Cider tends to be more comfortable around women and can be fearful of men at first. Due to his sensitive nature, Cider is looking for a home with older children too. With the people he knows and trusts, Cider is incredibly affectionate and loyal. His favorite things are hanging out with his favorite humans, curling up on the couch, and maybe convincing you to share a snack or two. The shelter volunteers adore this handsome hunk.
