Sheri Lynn (Dellicker) Hernandez, 54, of New Tripoli, died Aug. 16, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township, after a two-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She was the devoted wife of Todd Hernandez, with whom she celebrated 27 years of marriage in September 2025.

Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Willard G. and Trudie L. (Klein) Dellicker.

She was a 1990 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, where she participated in softball, hockey and soccer, then faithfully supported NWL sports as a parent, coach and fan.

She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in business management from Kutztown University in 1994, followed by an MBA from Lehigh University and an Ed.D. in curriculum and instruction from Capella University.

She was a professor and program director with American Public University System in Charles Town, W.V., where she taught active-duty military students for 15 years.

She was a member of Ebenezer Church of New Tripoli and served as treasurer.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, her survivors include children Nolan Jett Hernandez, LTJG, U.S. Navy and Reagan Tru Hernandez; her brother, the Rev. Kevin W. (Susan) Dellicker of Germansville; her sister, Jodi L. (Greg) Sproule of Barto; her father-in-law, Pedro Hernandez of Allentown; brother-in-law Peter J. (Sarah) Hernandez of Allentown; sister-in-law Valerie H. (Cisco) Rivera of Kunkletown; six nephews; two nieces; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 21, at Ebenezer Church of New Tripoli, with the Rev. Kevin W. Dellicker officiating.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m.
