As the new school year approaches, the Pennsylvania Courts wants to remind drivers to slow down in school zones, stop for school buses and stay alert to help ensure the safety of our students.

Over the past five years (2021-2025), 25,136 Pennsylvania drivers have been cited for school zone violations.

Title 75 School Zone violations issued from Jan. 1, 2021 through Dec. 31, 2025, as recorded in the Magisterial District Judge System for Lehigh County are: 93 for 2021, 52 for 2022, 40 for 2023, 39 for 2024, 44 for 2025, for a total 268 with a percentage overall of 3.23%.
