Edward F. Mrowka Sr., 93, of Northampton, died Aug. 12, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospice House in Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Yost) Mrowka for 72 years.

Born in Shamokin, he was the son of the late Adolph and Stella (Massavage) Mrowka.

He worked as a welder and fabricator for most of his life and retired from Ingersoll Rand after more than 25 years of service.

He was also a member of the Hungarian Hall.

He is survived by a son, Edward Jr. and wife Carol; a son-in-law, David Miles; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Miles.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Aug. 29 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 3285 Pheasant Drive, Northampton.
