Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., born Sept. 25, 1980, in Atlanta, Ga., known as T.I., is an American rapper and actor. He is a pioneer of the hip-hop subgenre trap music. His second album, “Trap Muzik” (2003), peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and spawned the Top 40 singles “Rubber Band Man” and “Let’s Get Away.” His sixth album, “Paper Trail” (2008), had two Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, “Whatever You Like” and “Live Your Life.” His 12th album, “Kill the King,” said to be his final, was released in June.
Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, born Dec. 22, 1991, in Cleveland, Ohio, is known professionally as DaBaby (formerly Baby Jesus). His debut studio album, “Baby on Baby” (2019), spawned the single “Suge.” His second studio album, “Kirk” (2019), spawned the hit singles “Intro” and “Bop.” Kirk’s fifth album, “Be More Grateful” was released in January.
