Rima Ann Hirsch, 89, of Lower Macungie Township, died peacefully surrounded by her family Aug. 8, 2026. Born in New York City, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late David and Miriam (Unger) Hirsch.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University and was a financial adviser at Ameriprise Financial for more than 30 years.

For many years, she served on the board of directors of the American Diabetes Association.

She was a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown, where she served as an officer on the board of directors for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Hope Reiss and her husband, Brad; son, Mitchell Lenett; grandchildren, Benjamin, Carly, Brad Jr.; five great-grandchildren; brother, Stephen.

In lieu of flowers, given her lifelong animal advocacy, memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, 18031.
