The summer concert series continues with Reservoir Hill performing 7-10 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Catasauqua Park and Playground amphitheater, 501 American St. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and settle in for a fun, musical night in the park.

The second annual Walt Winch basketball free throw contest will take place Aug. 15. Registration begins 9 a.m. at the Catasauqua park. This event is free and open to the public.

There are separate girls and women divisions, as well as boys and men divisions. There are eight divisions for females and eight divisions for males from children through adults, elementary school-age to 65 plus. There will be first, second and third place prizes in each division.

Lunch will be provided.

The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church is holding its next meeting 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at the church, 604 Fourth St.

Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua, 210 Pine St., is planning its next free community lunch, set for 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Aug. 17. All are welcome!
